About me

I am active in the community; volunteering and participating in LowVelo (raising money for Hollings Cancer Center), and Ride to End ALZ (Alzheimer's) South Carolina. I recently completed a term as President of my HOA in the Coatbridge Subdivision of Park West. I am married to Evelyn Massar-Spedden who is studying Art at the College of Charleston.

I am a cycle enthusiast and belong to multiple local bike clubs (Coastal Cyclists, Low Country Gravel Grinders, Charleston Beer Riders). I enjoy exploring the Low Country through the lens as an amateur photographer; am always in search of additions to my extensive vinyl record collection; and enjoy collecting and sipping fine wines with my wife, Evelyn. I am frequently seen exploring our parks and green spaces with Andie, our Airedale Terrier.
